Easter Fun
We spent Easter at home. Mom and Dad had everyone over for an Easter celebration on Saturday evening. All the usual suspects were there. There was Mommy, Daddy, Grammy Judy and Grammy Cindy, Pappy David, Great Gramma Welch, Robin, Tim, and Jillian. Also in attendance was Uncle Chris, Aunt Heather, Great Aunt Patty, and Mocha (of course). Then later in the evening Daddy's friend Chub stopped by with his wife and two daughters. There were a lot of people at my house.
When everyone left by Sunday Morning there was this weird quiet in the house. Maybe the house is accustom to a lot of people there, because for a while after everyone left it felt sort of empty. Of course the feeling did not last long, as Mocha is always able to make you feel overwhelmed by her presence.

Meeting More Family
A few days after our trip to visit Great Grammy Brady my Uncle Chris came to visit me. Let me tell you about Uncle Chris...he's the best. He bought me my swing (which is awesome), be got me a crawling tunnel and a thing that lights up on my crib, and for Easter he got me a fishy mobil for my crib. It plays music and shines fishes onto the ceiling!
This is a picture of me and Uncle Chris. Hey, his first name is similar to my middle name!

Meeting Great Grammy
The week before Easter Mom and Dad took me to meet my Great Grammy Brady! She's Dad's Grammy. We had a great day that day. First we drove up to have lunch with Grammy Cindy. She was at work, where she teaches 3rd graders. Those kids were huge! Then we suprised Great Grammy! Then we drove back home. It was a great day. Here is a few pictures of our meeting!

From my Front Swing
You know there is nothing like spending a lazy evening on your swing. Thanks to Uncle Chris I can just relax and swing away the days. Check me out in my awesome aquarium swing. It can swing from front to back, or from side to side. It also plays music, sounds, lights up, and fishs swim in circles. Don't be jelous, I'll only be able to use it until I hit 25 lbs...that's 11.3398 kg for the people across the pond!
I can't wait for summer, when I can sit and swing outside!

Growing Even More
Last week you may remember me telling you that as of Friday the 4th of March I weighed 7 lbs 2 oz. Well, Mom had to take me to see the doctor this past Saturday (the 12th) and I weighed in at 8 lbs 2 oz. That's right in a week I gained an amazing pound! For our friends across the pond, that means that I gained 0.4536 kg in only a weeks. Also for our friends, since I started out life at 3.1751 kg or 7 lbs (as we say in the states) I have gained weight, and now weigh 3.68543 kg or 8 lbs 2 oz. Cheer-o and all that!
If you wanted to know why Mom made me visit the doctor, its because I had some gastroenteritis or a "stomach bug" as we say in the states! After some pedialyte and a lot of tender loving care I am feeling much better now.
I'll keep you informed of all my adventures!

The Weekend's Activities
I had a big weekend!
Friday Mom and Dad took me to my doctor. There we found out that I have grown by 11 ounces in weight and an inch and a quarter in length. Due to my weight loss at the hosptial prior to coming home the increase means that on Friday morning I was 7 lbs 2 oz in weight, and 20 1/4 inches long.
Then Saturday Grammy Cindy and Judy came down to visit. I kept them entertianed at home while Mom and Dad went to dinner and shopping. They said they had a good time, but I was the one who made out. I had a great time with Grammy and Judy. Mocha must have had a ogod time too, because she tore some stuff up. Grammy didn't stay, instead she and Judy went home around 7:30 Saturday night.
Then on Sunday we loaded up the car and went to visit Granpa Dave and Granma Judy (different Judy...yes it is confusing for such a little guy). Mocha came with us too! And not only did we see my Grandparents but we also got to see Jillian, Tim, Robin, and Great Grandma Dot. The ride home was long, so I cried a bit. But when I got home Dad put me in my swing...it was just what I needed to calm me down before bed.
Things are going well at our house. Mom and Dad are getting use to me, and I keep them on a schedule. I'm doing all the things boys my age are supposed to do. You know, look around, lift my head, suck my fingers, eat, sleep, and soil my diapers. All the normal things.
And that's - that. Hope you have a good week. I'll try to keep you informed of what Mom, Dad, and I are up to.

Check Out My Photos
My Hungry Face

This is Dad's favorite picture, it is immediately after I was born. It was taken by one of the nurses in the operating room. This is our first Family Photo! (Minus Mocha of course).

Heisman Bound
About 5 minutes after my arrival My Dad took a picture of me being weighed. This photo op gave me the chance to throw out my Heisman pose. Of course this is a natural pose for me, so you'll have to forgive the lack of proper stiff arm and ball control mechanics. Dad is going to work on that with me once I'm able to stand up on my own.
Who do you think I should win the Heisman trophy for? Should I be the first Pitt player since Tony Dorsett in 1976? Do you think I should be the first for WVU? Or should I go to a tradisional football powerhouse like Notre Dame, USC, or Oklahoma? And lastly, which position do you think I should play?
Dad is worried that if I go to either Pitt or WVU I will be overlooked, as the Big East is not looking so big these days. (So he tells me.) So, if you have any better suggestions as to the University that will support my Heisman run, please let me know. In the meantime, check out my pose baby.

I'm Here
Hello everyone. I just wanted you to know that I came into the world on the 17th. I weighed 7 lbs even and was 19 inches long. I gave Mom ad Dad a little scare, as I kept dropping my heart rate during contractions. But in the end, I came out fine, and both Mom and I are doing great. I'm leaving you a picture.

Weighing In
Last night we went to get my pictures done via ultrasound. This little session was scheduled because the doc thought Mom was measuring a bit small. I've been around now for 28 weeks, but Mom was only measuring as if I were 23 weeks. So the ultrasound was scheduled. Mom and Dad got to see me move around a little bit. They could see that I have hair, and all my limbs. And then they saw me yawn. They laughed, but I was tired. Then the tech said she thought I was cute! Dad said I take after him. Mom and the tech made fun of him...And since I can distinguish between voices after Mom and the tech ganged up on poor old Dad I stuck my tongue out at them. Seeing that Mom changed her tune and said I definitely take after my Dad!
So, I'll bet you are wondering what the outcome of the test showed? Well it showed that all is going well. I am weighing 2 lbs 15 oz. And I am measuring as if I were 29 weeks 1 day! So while Mom looks little, I am actually a tiny bit big! What can I say, I'm big boned!
I was going to put a profile pic of me, so you can see how cute I am, but Dad forgot the pics on his way out the door, mostly because Mocha found her way out the door with Dad carrying a bunch of stuff. But that's no excuse, my public awaits. Bad Dad.
Last nights Ultrasound will probably be my last pictures until I arrive. Its sort of sad in a way, because Mom and Dad would like to keep going back to see me. But since I am doing so well, there will probably be no reason for more ultrasounds. And that's all the news for now. I'll write a little more on Friday after we go back to birthing class.
Don't forget to do your breathing exercises. Cleansing breath in....hold 5 seconds...blow out like this sstth...sstth...sstth...sstth....Cleansing breath in...hold 5 seconds. Good, now don't you feel better. Me too.

Class Is In Session
Last night Mom and Dad went to Parenting Class. Not too much to say about that. Basically, a lady talked about the anatomy of a mother and her growing baby. Do you know how big 10 centimeters is? Its HUGE! The cervix opens up that big. I think you could slide a 3 liter pop bottle through that thing! My goodness. Dad and I are both glad we are boys and will not have to worry about anything in our bodies opening up that big. Mommy on the other hand looks a bit worried. The teacher also talked about exercises and breathing and everyone got to practice breathing. That basically made up the entire class. I'll tell you more as I learn more.
Did you know that at 27 weeks I can dream? And distinguish the difference between mommy and daddys' voices? Dad thinks I will also be able to tell Mocha's voice, because she likes to lay her head on mommy's belly. Then of course everytime mom or I move poor Mocha lets out a sigh.
In closing all is well. I am just getting ready for my photo shoot on Tuesday evening.

The Upcoming Schedule
Last evening we went to another doctor's appointment. Although my mother has grown by quite a few pounds I am measuring a little small. The doc said its nothing to worry about as mom is tall and thin and those type of girls usually hide the growth. However, he scheduled another ultrasoud for next Tuesday just to make sure all is well. Thanks doc. My parents are glad, because then they will get to see even more pictures of me, and my growth.

Name That Boehke Contest
Obviously the Boehke baby can not go through life being called simply "The Boehke Baby", so we would like you to take the time and think of a good name to give to the young boy. Sure I know what you are thinking, "If it's a contest, what do I win?" The answer to that is, if you come up with the best name for the youngest Boehke, you will win the joy of knowing that you actually helped in the naming of The Boehke Baby! Sweet...we know it!
